Develop QA strategy, framework, and QA processes (manual & automation) aligned with the Fintech/payment intermediary model.
Define test plans; review test cases and scenarios; control quality before release/go-live.
Lead and develop the QA team; assign tasks; coach on financial domain knowledge, risk-based testing, and automation.
Execute and/or lead automation testing (UI/API/Backend); build and maintain automation frameworks; integrate with CI/CD pipelines.
Test and control financial transaction flows; handle issues related to transaction status, reconciliation, refund, timeout, retry, duplicate transactions.
Perform root cause analysis; collaborate with Product, Technology, Risk, and Operations to resolve incidents and prevent recurrence.
Track quality metrics; continuously improve QA effectiveness and release quality.
II. CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 5 years in Senior QA/QA Lead/Test Lead roles.
Strong preference for candidates with experience in Fintech, Banking, E-wallets, Payment Gateways, or Payment Intermediaries.
Hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing; UI/API/Backend testing, database and batch/reconciliation testing; building or extending automation frameworks; CI/CD integration.
Solid understanding of financial transaction flows; proven experience handling transaction failures, production incidents, reconciliation, refunds; ability to work under tight release pressure.
Strong knowledge of SDLC and Agile/Scrum; system-level and risk-based testing mindset; understanding of financial system security standards (PCI DSS, ISO 27001 is a plus).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; effective cross-functional communication; proven capability to lead and develop QA teams.
