JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Talent Strategy

  • Act as a Talent Business Partner to Tech/Product/Data teams, deeply understanding organizational goals to proactively build tailored hiring strategies.
  • Don’t wait for candidates to come to you – actively headhunt top talent from passive markets via LinkedIn, industry communities, personal networks, and advanced sourcing techniques.

2. Conquering “Tough-to-Fill” Roles

  • Focus on high-demand positions (Senior Tech, Engineering Manager, Product Lead, CTO, CPO…) where success requires more than sourcing skills—it takes connection and persuasion.
  • Optimize every touchpoint: from job description, first message, interview experience to offer timing and negotiation.

3. Owning the Candidate Experience

  • Represent 9Pay professionally and clearly communicate our mission, team culture, and real growth opportunities.
  • Lead candidates through a smooth end-to-end hiring journey: never lose good talent to poor process or unclear communication.

4. Building Talent Intelligence & Pipelines

  • Stay up-to-date with the tech talent market, emerging trends, and compensation benchmarks.
  • Proactively build long-term pipelines for strategic roles—even before a hiring need arises. 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in recruitment, ideally in a headhunting agency or tech company.
  • Strong track record of headhunting for senior or hard-to-fill Tech/IT/Product positions (C-level, Director, or Senior Engineers).
  • Skilled in sourcing techniques: Boolean Search, LinkedIn Recruiter, Github/Behance searches, referral mapping, etc.
  • High emotional intelligence, able to read candidate motivation and adjust your approach accordingly.
  • Proactive, market-savvy and persuasive, knows how to “hook” even the most hesitant candidates.
  • Business mindset, understands how roles contribute to organizational value.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and candidate assessment skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a clear vision for career development in recruitment.
  • Responsible, detail-oriented, and capable of working under pressure.
