9Pay Achieves the Highest Level of International PCI DSS Security Certification

PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) is a globally recognized information security standard and a mandatory requirement for service providers such as payment gateways and data centers. It is managed by five international payment organizations: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and JCB. The PCI DSS is authorized for management by the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council (PCI SSC).

After six months of testing and evaluation, the 9Pay payment gateway was certified by CMC Cyber Security as meeting the 12 main groups of requirements with 182 detailed requirements of PCI DSS. The certification awarded to 9Pay is the latest version of PCI DSS, with stricter rules on data access, including multi-factor authentication, the addition of designated subjects, and executive management responsibilities.
