9Pay proudly becomes the first payment intermediary member of the Da Nang International Financial Center

Within the framework of the Conference announcing the establishment of the International Financial Center (IFC) in Vietnam, chaired by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, the Da Nang People's Committee officially revealed the list of the first 10 organizations to become members of the Da Nang IFC. 9Pay was confirmed as the first payment intermediary on this list, affirming its leading position in applying modern technology to build digital financial infrastructure.

Being recognized as an IFC member with a primary focus on Monetary Intermediation (including payment intermediaries) enables 9Pay to realize its vision of applying blockchain to optimize existing B2B services - particularly Collection & Disbursement and Remittances. 9Pay’s presence among the first 10 financial institutions of the Da Nang IFC serves as a vital link, connecting international and domestic markets to create a diverse financial ecosystem.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized that building the IFC is an urgent requirement to attract new growth drivers such as science, technology, and innovation. The Da Nang IFC is positioned as a niche market financial center, focusing on Fintech (financial technology), Wealth management and Green finance.

The center follows a modern model closely integrated with innovation, digital technology, and sustainable finance. It is designed as a testing platform (sandbox) for new financial models, including digital assets, digital payments, specialized exchanges, supply chain finance, and third-party services that complement traditional financial markets.

As a member, 9Pay commits to strictly complying with anti-money laundering (AML) and risk management standards. Simultaneously, the company will research and implement advanced payment solutions targeting digital assets, digital payments, and digital banking to serve the needs of international e-wallets and global applications entering the Vietnamese market.
