9Pay Recognized as a Science and Technology Enterprise by the Ministry of Science and Technology

On September 30, 2025, 9Pay Joint Stock Company was officially certified as a Science and Technology Enterprise (STE) by the Ministry of Science and Technology. This special certification, granted by State authorities, is reserved for enterprises whose products and services are derived from scientific research, technological development, and innovation. To achieve it, businesses must demonstrate proven technological capabilities, successfully develop and defend their proposals, and show clear, measurable contributions to the market and society.

In 2025, more than 60 enterprises nationwide applied for the STE certification, but only four successfully passed the rigorous evaluation process. 9Pay was among this select group. According to the certification, two computer software programs gave rise to three of 9Pay’s flagship products: the 9Pay Payment Gateway, 9Pay E-Wallet, and TingTing Payment Sound Box.

The 9Pay Payment Gateway currently enables hundreds of thousands of businesses and merchants to process online transactions safely and efficiently. The 9Pay E-Wallet delivers convenient digital payment experiences for over 2 million individual users. Meanwhile, the TingTing Payment Sound Box, a solution designed specifically for small merchants, helps eliminate the risk of fake payment confirmations, streamlines revenue management, issues invoices, and supports tax declaration in line with Decree 70/2025/NĐ-CP. Together, these three products form a comprehensive payment ecosystem serving both consumers and enterprises.

This achievement not only recognizes 9Pay’s commitment to innovation but also opens new opportunities for the company to continue contributing to Vietnam’s national digital transformation programs. In particular, policy incentives introduced under Resolution 68 are expected to accelerate 9Pay’s efforts in advancing secure and transparent digital payment solutions, especially for individual business households. With this certification, 9Pay gains access to a range of benefits in taxation, financing, trade promotion, and intellectual property protection, critical resources for scaling up, expanding research, commercializing products, and driving further growth.

This demonstrates not only 9Pay’s well-prepared and proactive approach to technology development but also highlights how private enterprises can play a pivotal role in realizing the goals of Resolution No.68-NQ/TW, fostering innovation, and advancing Vietnam’s digital economy.
